Seated in our Los Angeles based headquarters, Genies is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and is always up to date on the latest social trends. You love the digital landscape and the power of social media marketing - you are a creative problem solver and are always looking for innovative ways to reach target audiences and build an engaged community. You think outside of the box and have a unique combination of being creative, strategic, and organized. You have a strong pulse on Gen Z culture, fashion, tik tok trends, and emerging tech. You will work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and Growth Marketing Manager to help build and execute our content strategies, along with our broader marketing and user acquisition initiatives for our Silver Studio app, developer and artist communities, and broader Genies ecosystem.  

What You’ll be Doing:

• Work closely with marketing and product teams to build new creative organic content and launch strategies to help achieve product growth & engagement goals 
• Build and execute a social engagement strategy to grow Genies’ community and increase retention with our user / follower base
• Research new content ideas and educates the team on current social trends and new content opportunities
• Responsible for creating content across our various social media accounts + marketing initiatives 
• Build creative strategy and execution for ads and influencer briefs in collaboration with growth marketing manager
• Report and analyze data across social campaigns in order to track KPIs and growth optimization across digital marketing channels
• Manage day to day content calendar & execution across all social platforms and accounts 
• Support in crafting and executing on Genies brand, tone, and voice across all channels and product-lines

What You Should Have:

• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, content strategy and creation 
• 1+ year of digital marketing experience for a consumer-social product or app preferred
• Understanding of basic content creation tools (cap-cut, splice, adobe suite, etc) 
• Comfortable being in front of / behind the camera (filming)
• Deep understanding of gen z, social media landscape and trends
• Experience developing integrated or GTM digital marketing campaigns
• Strong communication and writing skills; detail-oriented with a passion for social media
• Established network of content creators and digital marketing professionals
• Bachelor degree (Marketing, Business, Creative, Design or related field preferred)

The actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including: professional background, training, transferable skills, work experience, education, location, business and product needs, and market demand. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time employees may also be eligible for equity compensation, in addition to a robust health, wellness, and benefits package. 

Starting Salary Range: $56,000.00 to $84,000.00
